Pane States (Basic)

A pane can be in one of five states.

• Docked: Docked panes are attached to one of the four Laserfiche Scanning edges. Docked panes can be resized.
• Floating: Floating panes are not attached to any of the Laserfiche Scanning edges and can be moved to any location. Floating panes can also be resized.
• Hidden: Equivalent to a closed pane.
• Auto-Hidden: An automatically hidden pane is hidden inside the edge to which it is currently docked. The name of an auto-hidden pane will remain visible along the same edge. Mouse over the pane's name to make it reappear. The pane will disappear when it is not in use.
• Fixed: Panes that are fixed cannot be docked, floating, or hidden. The Display Pane is Laserfiche Scanning's only fixed pane.
